Mike Delledera is currently working hard to deliver his third solo album on his own indie label Ivy Productions, Inc. 

The brand new original album written and produced by Mike combines elements of rock, reggae, gospel, blues and jazz creating a mood that is both uplifting and magical.  The songs feature stellar musicians including drummer Adrian Tramantano (Twiddle), piano/organ Scott Chasolen (The Machine), bass Chris DeAngelis (The Machine) and includes many other special guests.  

The new album is due Summer 2025!  Stay tuned!  

 

Delledera’s prodigious musical chops date back to his formal study of classical piano since the age of 3.  After mastering Bach, Beethoven and Brahms, the young teenager picked up an electric guitar inspired (of course) by MTV, Guns n’ Roses and Metallica.  After his first year of playing guitar, Mike transcribed and learned every riff on Appetite for Destruction and every lick on every Metallica album.  (Not bad for a high school freshman!)  He formalized his musical explorations through studying blues, jazz, classical guitar, and jazz arranging at Ithaca College and graduated with a BA in Music Industry from SUNY Oneonta.

Upon moving to NYC, Delledera continued his pursuit of playing live with various bands in clubs, touring the NE and eventually landing in the studio with iconic guitarist Carlos Alomar (John Lennon, David Bowie).  It was here working with Carlos, Mike fully honed his skillset as a songwriter, lead guitarist, band-leader.  

Delledera released the critically acclaimed Gold Honey EP (2009) followed by his debut album WakeUpSideDowntown (2014) – recorded live in the studio with Grammy-winning producer Steve Addabbo who truly captured Mike’s genuine heartfelt songs and the band’s lightning-in-a-bottle spontaneity at their most focused, relaxed, and inspired. 

Mike is the owner and founder of the Ivy Music School NYC (est 2007).  He is also a member of ASCAP and a voting member of the Recording Academy.
